Pune: Get ready for another exciting weekend as Happy Streets, the city’s favourite community event, returns to Hinjewadi for its second week today evening.
The free-for-all carnival, an initiative by The Times of India and Maharashtra Times, sponsored by Kolte Patil, promises to transform one flank of the road from Life Republic Fire Station to Crimson Anisha Global School into a vibrant celebration of community spirit and healthy living.
From 6pm to 9 pm, residents can experience a delightful mix of activities spread across multiple zones. The main stage will come alive with high-energy Zumba and Bollywood dance sessions, where participants can groove along with professional instructors.
Sports enthusiasts can head to the dedicated sports arena, equipped with facilities for football, basketball, badminton, archery, table tennis, and even wave boarding and skating. Meanwhile, the kids arena is set to be a paradise for little ones, featuring engaging activities like street chalk drawing, traditional board games, mini bowling, giant Jenga, and more.
The event will host a band of aspiring singers who can showcase their talent. Art lovers can explore creativity at the craft corner, while music enthusiasts can join the communal drum circle. For those seeking wellness, the fitness and yoga area offers opportunities for both energetic workouts and peaceful meditation. Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy a ride within the venue on provided bicycles.
